Boomtown make so much effort to create an amazing area for families in Whistler’s Green and Kids town and why shouldn’t people raise their children with the festival ethos of be kind, respect each other and the environment around you and learn some amazing skills at the various, workshops provided.
People have been taking kids to festivals for years and those children will probably take their children too. It’s not anything new.
The main reason we don’t take ours is because it’s a very rare weekend where we get to let our hair down and enjoy ourselves.
So glad this little one enjoyed their festival experience.. That smile says it all.

I’ve seen such bad parenting at boomtown in previous years ! One year at around 2am a women had her baby strapped to herself whilst having it hard at the rave yard ! Was not a pretty site ! The baby didn’t even look old enough to walk !

Oh wow. I know plenty of kids bought up around festivals. All are amazingly grown up clued up kids/adults now. Since when has removing your kids from everywhere they may learn about different aspects of life become a good thing. There is enough other bits of festival that parents and kids can have a safe and amazing time. Yes there’s bad parenting but if I look out my bedroom window I can see worse patenting daily. Kids love festival’s and it’s our choice whether they go or not becusee we chose to keep them safe. If you don’t wanna take your kids fine. But fuck off telling us how we bring up our kids. Wanna have a opinion on breastfeeding too cus your about a step away from that.
