Latest update from Boomtown Fair

Help us to keep the festival green! For chapter 10 we’ve put a huge focus into reducing our impact on the environment… and there are some things you can do to help us!

REDUCE!
– Don’t bring too much here in the first place & only bring what you’re going to take home!!
RE-USE!
– Bring a reusable water bottle or purchase one here and use it at one of our many water points.
– Don’t leave your tent (or any camping equipment) here – they are not single use items!
RE-CYCLE!
– Use our new two bin system & the recycling points in the campsites.
– Grab yourself a portable ashtray and empty it into the dedicated bins so Terracycle can make something new from your cigarette butts!
– Get involved in the new 10p cup deposit scheme.

Brand new for Chapter 11 is the Camp Skylark "Bring Your Own Tent" area!

Following feedback, Camp Skylark BYO is for those desiring the tranquility and comfort of the Skylark experience but the opportunity pitch their own trusty tent...

The area offers a peaceful camping alternative where residents can pitch their own tent in a spacious & secure campground whilst taking advantage of nearby showers and flushing loos as well as chill out areas and exclusive traders in the shared Skylark hub area.

But that just defeats the purpose 😂

Josh Osborne

Totally ruins the point of skylark for those who opt to camp there and pay more for skylark accommodation

Tommie Malpas

Mica Barry Chanell Jasmin Coveleyhave they just ruined skylark

And this is why boomtique was better - TWO sites and you could get a normal boomtique wristband for showers, toilets etc or a resident one for the ppl who pay hundreds upon thousands of pounds to get away from shitty tents 😂🙄

Paul Byrne

Stupid. That defeats the whole purpose.

Hi Boomtown Fair, Can you clarify then, If people who buy glamping package for Skylark still have to pay extra for the Skylark wristband? I feel that with this change the people who buy glamping packages are now being ripped off if we have to buy the wristband on top when people can just roll on in with their tent and wristband and use all the same amenities.... Why not just create a completely seperate area?

This would be amazing if it was open on the Wednesday :(

Might as well since you only provide 1 thin sheet for 45degree weather

Will the toilets near the cafe and reception be shared with more. I liked there was hardly any lines for the toilets. I stayed in huts last year. Can there be toilets up that end this year please.
