We are pleased to confirm that all applicable refunds will be processed within 21 days.

• We will be refunding everyone who bought a ticket from an official seller the face value of their festival ticket, as well as the face value of all festival extras.

• These will include litter bonds, parking and campervan passes, glamping, pre-pitched and reserved camping, phone charging, boat parties, wellbeing classes and activities and locker hire. In addition, any unscanned Boardmasters After Party tickets will be refunded at face value to ticket buyers outside of the Newquay area. Please see boardmasters.com/refunds for full details.

God people complaining that its 21 days until they have there money back yet they wouldn't have that money anyway if the festival went ahead ugh lol

What a fuckin joke!! So SIX weeks after the cancelled event we get refunded? SIX WEEKS? Enjoying that interest arent u boardmasters!

If you don't think they are profiting from our money you are deluded. The organiser's would never hold a festival in that destination in this country without being able to profit be it canceled or live. It would be a impossible risk, just saying.

Well done Boardmasters! Shame people don't understand how difficult it is to sort out the refunds. Those who have spent their wages to have piss ups and now are struggling financially are mugs

Honestly dont know what everyone is moaning about I've just had to wait nearly 3 months for a refund from the wyldes- stop moaning!!

I’ve recently got a new bank card ( don’t know why as didn’t need one or didn’t ask for one but bank sent me one) but even though the account number and sort code is the same shouldn’t make any difference should it? It’s just the long card number that has changed so shouldn’t effect it going in my account?

Boardmasters I emailed a couple of weeks ago when the update first came out and also dm’d on Facebook however have had no reply. Understandably there will be a high volume of contact however is there a time frame to hear back? Thank you

Still no received a refund. Hope boardmasters sort this out sharpish, the more it drags on it will make people reluctant to come next year

It’s such a shame it’s come to this and I was one of those who was a tad frustrated with the lack of info following the cancellation but I’ve got to say you guys have done fantastically well to be able to issue all these refunds!! Hats off to all at boardmasters! I do hope I get the chance to experience the festival next year!!! Here’s to 2020!

We are really sad that it was cancelled but totally understand your decision, I’m sure it couldn’t of been easy ! We decided to make the most of a bad situation and have our own little festival !

It’s nearly been a week since you posted this and over 2 weeks since you cancelled is there anymore update ?

What's even more annoying is that I've contacted see tickets to attempt to update them that my card details have changed (as boardmasters update suggests) to just have a automated response that we will receive a refund.... Snore off 🙄 useless

Nice to get an update. When Boardies was cancelled, I used the festival spending money I had put aside to get a last minute ticket for my daughter to go to Boomtown. She went to that (and had a great time), and I went home, pretty much broke and spent the weekend thinking of what might have been. For most of us on here, going to a festival is our annual holiday. We save for it, plan for it, take time off work for it. True,shit happens, things get cancelled, but when shit does happen, we'd like our money back as soon as possible and until we get it back, we'd like to know that we are getting it back 100%. Pretty sure you people have had a very hard week, but there are 60,000 people out there who have also had a bit of a tough one wondering whether they will ever see their money again.

Keep the updates coming, people are appreciating the efforts you guys are making. We were all upset, all in the same boat, artists , organisers, festival goers. See you in 2020 x

I really hope you refund all the traders, etc too? Small businesses are in danger of going under due to the potential loss. One trader I’m aware off could suffer a loss of £50,000.00. It’s their livelihoods and this is no fault of their own. Do the right thing, Boardmasters, please!!

Anyone been issued their refunds yet ? Or had any further correspondence? Before the “Guru” Andrew Green replies ,this is a question for those that were actually going...so save the snotty replies 👍

Gutted again for all of the team who put so much into making this better every year ! One of the beauties of this festival is it’s proximity to the sea but that in itself is also one of the risks . When Bastille were cancelled a couple of years ago due to winds refunds came no problem so I had every faith and I know this must be on a list of many things that need sorting . If people don’t want this risk play safe and go inland . Me on the other hand can’t wait for BM 2020

Seriously 3 weeks and no money returned! Why the delay! Some firm dates as to when the money will be returned would be good. Fast enough to take it not so fast to return - 🤔

patience people patience, i'm still in mourning here.. let 2019 subside then onto 2020, which must have a mixed up jumbled up shook up world of music.. who to let go and who to bring back.. i mean this event must take more than a year's worth to organise with BiG names and headliners.. imagine if Adele finishes her album as predicted in december and she's on the boardies 2020 pipeline headliner.. so be it, i think i would rather want to see Florence + The Machine up for headliner.. there i said it! thanks boardies

Charity donations we had to make to buy resident passes?

I’m sure it’s not as easy as everyone thinks it is to sort the refunds for thousands of people. Well done to Boardmasters for keeping the communication going 👍

The updates we have been given over the last two weeks haven't really shed any light on the refund situation let's be brutally honest

How many people got their tickets before they paid for it? None. No it does not take time to give money back. Its just as quick as typing this message. Its 2019 the technology is their to make this process very quick. The festival organisers are dragging their heels. I bet the main acts already have their wages for doing nothing. Lol

Can't believe people expect refunds within a week. Boardies capacity is around 55,000 and was pretty much sold out. That's a lot of money to sort out and they're likely waiting on their insurance to pay out first as they have already incurred a lot of the costs that your ticket covers. Have some fucking patience and for a minute just realise that they don't like this situation any more than you do for crying out loud. Some of the people on here are being pathetic.

It’s a shame that it had too be cancelled due too weather my son was going again this year and really looking forward too it as he was going with a group of friends and almost started his journey from south west wales . But the refund needs too speed up as I’ve phoned a good few times now and keep getting told In 2 days refund will be giving and still No money in my son account !!! The money must be making good Interest for someone !!!

Boardmasters good work refunding all tickets, surely trader pitches have to be included with this? Traders make up a big part of festival culture and most are small independent business owners doing it for the love!
