Following our update on 22nd August we have been working with our ticket agents and insurers to process refunds as quickly as possible.

We are pleased to confirm that all refunds for the face value of festival tickets and festival extras have now been processed by our official ticket agents – SEE Tickets, Verve/Pollen and Festicket. If not already received, funds should show in your account in the next few days depending on your payment method or bank.

We are aware that some customers received a partial refund from SEE Tickets. This was due to refunds being issued by ticket type e.g. litter bond or parking rather than as a whole. We are as disappointed as you are at the alarm this caused some of our customers and have raised this with SEE Tickets. Please be assured all refunds have now been issued.

We have also been able to confirm that we will be refunding all traders and caterers their pitch fees and recharges.

Following a festival cancellation of this scale, it takes time to work through a claim and receive the funds from insurers in order to process refunds. We know that this has caused frustration and disappointment for some of you. Please be assured, refunds have remained our priority and we worked as fast as we could to get these to you via our ticket agents.

A huge thank you, once again, to all of our fans and business partners for your patience and support whilst our ticket agents processed refunds.

This would have been our first festival - thank you for the professional way you have handled everything, and special thanks to Charge Candy/Skiddle whose refund was received almost immediately. Very impressed. See you next year!

Thank you for refunding the full costs, it was really disappointing not to be able to attend this year but looking forward to 2020!

Thank you for your refund that we received this week however I was disappointed that you have deducted over £9 for some reason especially when it was paid by debit card and therefore is not subject to a % fee. Can you confirm if you are refunding this money as well

Can you advise why no booking fee has been refunded? As this is in no way the customer’s choice, I would expect a full refund. It seems very unfair that any customer should loose a single penny?

£298 paid £276 refunded, also find it brilliant that boardmasters are replying to the people who have had no refund but ignoring everyone who has been ripped off with “booking fees” shambolic effort boardmasters 🖕

Funny how when you book the tickets they don’t mention about a booking fee yet when you are refunded for them cancelling the event then take it out of that! £10 is rather steep just for a booking fee!

Didn't receive surf lesson money back that I booked through Boardmasters £73 down the drain.. And don't say I could have still gone because we had nowhere to stay..

Paid £204 but only got back £189 for some reason !

Fast turn around☺ I still dont have a refund for 2 x spa tickets? Is this company not refunding?

Boardmasters no refund received for 3 x 5 day camping. Really poor communication from verve when booking and with the refund.

• These will include litter bonds, parking and campervan passes, glamping, pre-pitched and reserved camping, phone charging, boat parties, wellbeing classes and activities and locker hire. In addition, any unscanned Boardmasters After Party tickets will be refunded at face value to ticket buyers outside of the Newquay area. Please see boardmasters.com/refunds for full details.

• Refunds will be processed automatically by our official ticket sellers.

• If you have updated your card details or have any questions regarding payment please contact your point-of-purchase directly.

Thanks the update... Will this be by a bank transfer back to the card that was used to pay or by cheque?

So I’ve received £30 from a £45 deposit. 🤔 how does that work? Also I am still awaiting my other £262.50?

Well done Boardmasters! Shame people don't understand how difficult it is to sort out the refunds. Those who have spent their wages to have piss ups and now are struggling financially are mugs

Totally panicking now, only had an email from PayPal saying I’m getting £10 back to my credit card from a £299 ticket and that hasn’t shown yet.

I still have no been refunded for 2 saturday day tickets and it has been 21 days today since you posted the initial post. Please could you tell me when I am likely to get it?

21 days? Was expecting it to be refunded anyday 😫 I can’t understand why they were refunded so quickly a couple of years beforehand but this is taking 6 weeks? I spent all my wages on doing something else to replace boardmasters, I need this refund 😫😫🤣🤣

So I got my refund yesterday but now I have to wait 30 days for it to go back on my card 😡

Why haven’t you refunded the full amount for the ticket when you stated that you were going to refund the full amount?! I’m 40 short!!

I only got £30 of my £38 deposit back, not the other £150!

why have i only received £90 back when I purchased 3 tickets i have my campervan passes refunded minus booking fee but I want the refund for the tickets

What is going on with these refunds? We were promised a full refund, I haven't received anything yet and my sister has received a fraction of the amount she paid! This is dishonest... Never again!

I can’t understand why I have a £20 refund? Anybody know why I would have got part refunded for 4 tickets and campervan pitch and parking? A refund which has taken 6 days to process?

Is there any reason why you haven't refunded the full amount ticket face value was £101 and you refund £95, I understand the processing fee being kept but why have you kept another £6 on each ticket

It's not on really, you take our ticket money immediately yet it takes nearly 6 weeks to sort the refund 😡😡😡😡

I’ve recently got a new bank card ( don’t know why as didn’t need one or didn’t ask for one but bank sent me one) but even though the account number and sort code is the same shouldn’t make any difference should it? It’s just the long card number that has changed so shouldn’t effect it going in my account?

Not refunding a booking fee and publicly declaring that you are refunding IN FULL Is pretty shitty! £69 back for a £74 ticket!! And that definitely adds up! 🙄😒😡🤬
