Glad to see this catching on, makes things so much easier
Will the wristbands be removable? I’m coming to the festival as the assistant of someone who uses a wheelchair and often needs me to go and fetch things like food or drink for her due to pain, fatigue or just because it’s quicker than going herself. The previous years we’ve been she just gave me her wallet. Will she be able to give me her wristband this year to pay?
Does unused credit get refunded?

Worked well at fyre festival
Oh dear, had bad experiences in the past. Can you point us to directions, terms, costs, charges etc
Given that contactless is so widespread now, why is having to put in more than you’ll spend in advance, then claim a refund for the rest (minus £1) at the end a good idea?

This is a mad idea in the extreme. Just who does this benefit? Not me for sure. If I want to give my children a tenner, I reach into my.pocket and pull out a couple of tenners. Now my cash is pointless as you don’t want it. That’s fine as the festival is expensive enough as it is, so we will just cut our spending at the event to nothing. I don’t like the idea that you will collect masses of data about my or my family’s spending, I deplore the idea that if there is money left of the band at the end that I have to claim it back and within a month else I probably won’t get it. As a live-in vehicle attendant, I can easily avoid spending money there and I suspect that I will not be the only one with such views.
Given that this news has been launched just a month before the event which is an effective change in the offering which we have no option of opting out of, will you give me a refund of my tickets as I am now not looking forward to this.
Anyone who thinks this is a sound idea needs to carefully think about the privacy issues and the huge amount of data you are giving up.
