Bluedot Festival news: Feeding Humphead Parrotfish – Blue Planet – BBC Earth

Latest update from Bluedot:

Fascinating footage from Blue Planet on the erosion of the coral reef by Humphead Parrotfish, forming islands collonised by plants & animals.

Experience Blue Planet in Concert with The Hallé at #BD18, a Thursday night exclusive > http://bit.ly/BDBluePlanet

A school of Humphead Parrotfish descend on the coral reef to feed and turn the age old coral into a fine sand that, in turn, forms islands. Fascinating video…

A walk in outer space? EVA002.

Very much a space oddity... 🚀

Are works on the telescope going to be complete before the festival next year?

Will this only be shown on the Thursday night, or will it be repeated over the wknd? Gutted that kids’ school holidays mean that we won’t get down until the Friday.
