Bluedot Festival news: BD19: The Hallé

We welcome The Hallé Orchestra's return to bluedot for their opening concert on Thursday 18 July. Lift Off, a co-commission between The Hallé and bluedot, will feature an extraordinary performance of the universe's most-loved sci-fi tracks, set to stunning, bespoke visuals created for this one-off event.

Thursday tickets and Thursday add-on tickets for weekend customers are on sale now.

A proper mud bath is a true baptism of any festival and they were unlucky that it had to happen on the year that they tried being more experimental with the scale of the event. What comes across from this image is just how much more massive camping and parking has had to become compared to the actual arena sizes during the upscale

At this height, you can't see the mud.
