STEWARD OF THE YEAR COMPETITION!
This year we asked you to vote on the most helpful Showsec steward at the festival and the runaway winner was Caroline Fraser (Number 204) who worked in Disabled Camping. “Always smiling and welcoming despite the weather,” read one remark. Congratulations to you Caroline – you win the £150 prize. Commendations also to lots of other stewards you also – in particular Number 199 (runner-up) and Number 750 – who attracted votes – lots of you were mentioned in despatches! And finally congratulations to the star staff in less glamourous positions, in static positions on properties: Anthony and Keith (numbers 740 and 190) who were at Finiskaig were adjudged the winners there are receive £50 each. As for the numpties who voted for themselves in large quantities (one of them 97 times!), you won’t be offered a career in the secret service for your abilities in deception!

Oh what about ken 310? We filled in loads for him. Was a great steward!
To be honest, all the stewards I met were very friendly and helpful. Well done Caroline 😋
They all make the festival a family friendly fun weekend play a huge part in the whole event.
Well done. All the stewards were so helpful and friendly ✊
Well done Caz and look forward to seeing your cheery face again next year for the 3rd year hopefully, delighted for you. Woo hoo Sheila Caz won. x
Congratulations Caz. I didn’t meet any staff member who wasn’t utterly lovely and helpful. Brilliant job.

Well done Caroline! (If your reading this I was the silly wave guy).
Congratulations, Caz!! And well deserved. Sorry we missed out on the vote (didn’t see link for this year) – you would’ve had another 5! (Marlene, Bernie, Colin, Dave & I). Looking forward to seeing your smiley face again next year.
Aw we forgot to vote for braids! Leesa Watson
Yeh he well done Caz definitely the best and we hope to see you next year x👍🏼😃🥂🥂
Well done, you were our choice for your lovely sunny disposition.
They were all great. 137 at the Garden Stage was great and was very patient when folk tried to go back up the stairs!! We were impressed! Also the guy with the ginger hair (can’t remember his number) at the campervan site took control of putting the chips down to soak up the mud – what a trooper!! X
Didn’t know there was an opportunity to nominate! 😔😔. I would like to belated congratulate all the stewards in the Clean Fields area…especially the young lady running it…whose name I never got.
Most of the stewards we came across were helpful-
However… the initial welcome from the car park stewards was lacklustre to say the least. Guy making himself comfy on someone’s parked trailer… when asked which way to family campsite he shrugged and said “maybe that way?”
Those directing the traffic were not logical in the slightest.
One guy I asked if there was an ATM said ” yeah- there are loads in there, all over the festival site” and when asked where we could get the set list and times no one seemed to have a scooby. We only found out on our way out on Sunday … 😂
I asked a steward where we could get one and he directed me to “two trees over there behind the green tent” .
On the whole stewards were very good, these were the exceptions, maybe just there to get a ticket for the festival.
The girls giving out the wristbands were particularly nice to our children – full marks for them. The stewards manning the friendly flush always had a smile and a chat. Good advice and very friendly.
Overall, (despite the above moans!) loved every minute-
We had a ball at belladrum!
Congratulations to the steward mentioned above who obviously exceeded expectations!
A very worthy winner, she was excellent, we look forward to seeing her each year and hugely appreciate her cheerful and helpful manner. Never heard her complain yet! Delighted for her. Well done

Next year try ensure u get a gazebo camped at gate for dryness and cuppas, as u were drenched but still smiling as always.
Well done also to the other stewards. Everyone did an amazing job as always…quick reaction during feeder was great.
Thank you Caroline for looking after us all and for your loverly smile and friendly face all weekend 😊x
Well done, enjoyed our chats on the way to and from stages and other necessities lol. A shout out to the young lad who covered the night shifts too, always happy and cheerful 😊 xx
