Supergrass, The Flaming Lips, The War on Drugs, Super Furry Animals……
Paulo Nutini. Fish. Frank Turner and the sleeping souls. Placebo
The appeal of the acts to my taste will determine whether I buy tickets or not. Blind faith might work for some, but not this monkey. Stereo MCs and Radical Dance Faction would be a good start, but The Cult are a hard act to follow, so make it good!
Groove Armada
Basement Jaxx
Leftfield
Orbital
Pop Will Eat Itself
Jim Bob (or get him & Fruitbat to do the last ever* comeback as Carter)
Blockheads
Unknown Era
The The
Jah Wobble
Drunken Dolly! Best band from The Netherlands (and you can trust me, I’m from The Netherlands too 😉). And they already have a rather extended fan base in the UK.
Some great dub soundsystem groups like Iration Steppas, Catch A Fire, Irie Vibes!
Anyone, as long as it’s not The Levellers, Ferocious Dog, Frank Turner or a Gallagher brother : )
Orphan Colours, Sons of Clogger, Nixon Tate and the honey club, Brand New Mornings, Red Kites & Field Manual. Just a few…
The cat empire morcheeba, the correspondents, stereo mcs, Zion train, dub pistols, orbital, toyah, leftfield, hothouse flowers, terrorvision, the star botherers, ghosts of men, Jesus Jones.
Wonderstuff, Gomez, reef,the charlatans, suede, Carter USM,
Damian Marley, Alborosie, The Skints, Gentleman’s Dub Club
The Flaming Lips, Leylines, Skinny Lister, Gogol Bordello would all be a good start.
Julian Cope, Echo and the Bunnymen, Underworld, PWEI
Nick cave and the bad seeds
Lucky chops
Rubber bandits
Gerry Cinnamon, Paul Heston & Joaquin abbot, the charlatans, shed seven, basement max, slamboree
Julian Cope , I believe he’s fairly local ……… Of Monsters And Men , they’re not.. Both have released albums and are gigging next year..
The Cure
Sam Fender
Supergrass
The Charlatans
Amazon’s
Bloc Party
Manic Street Preachers, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Darkness, The Polyphonic Spree, Erasure, Galileo 7, Pizza Tramp, Vince Ray and the Boneshakers, The Living End and Jet. You’ve already had the rest of my wishlist. 😉
Rusty shackle, the barsteward sons of Val doonican xx
Supergrass, bat for lashes, nick cave, amyl and the sniffers, stranglers, Julien cope, Edwyn Collins, the Damned
Ride, Kurt Vile, Gwenno, Manic Street Preachers, You Said Strange, Brix & the Extricated, MBV.
Billy Bragg as he’s not been for a few years! Nick Parker. Funke was great on the Woodland stage. Doonicans on the main stage so we can all see them. Seth Lakeman. I’d like to see the Webb Sisters again if they’re still touring.
The Skids (on the main stage), Oh Sees, Fontaines DC, Liines, Wedding Present, Holy Moly & the Crackers, Belly, Six by Seven, Verucca Salt, Sleeper and Bellowhead (if you can get them together again), Public Service Broadcasting…….that’ll do. I’m in if you get at least 3 of them. Cheers.
Would really like to see this band at festivals https://www.facebook.com/kathandthekicks/?__tn__=%2Cd%2CP-R&eid=ARCrsxdA6mwZ61UdnURyFhDBnXwWX6YWoCulFdnWh39au-v-AT8_NfJSIX1ZPxa1lOrOR4eoy6e2j9jF

Lots of punk rock, folk, ska, reggae, alternative and less of the indie. I’m not one to moan though 😉
Joking aside there are some awsome acts out there that are just off the radar of BT. I did give my fully costed (although they worked for the Conservatives finance department) line up previously.
Five that have never played before
The Interrupters
The Menzingers
Nosebleed
Leftfield
Grace Petrie
My major BT highlights were Jesus and Mary Chain and Glasvegas, also seeing Eastfield on the pallet stage. Convoy Cabaret so many – Hagar the Womb, Omega Tribe in particular. Would love Subhumans. Wonk Unit, Slaves, Slow readers club and Dubiosa kolektiv were also great. What about the Lovely Eggs and A place to bury strangers?

Johnny Marr (I might pee my pants with joy) Paul heaton and Jacqui Abbott, Richard Ashcroft. Hothouse Flowers, the damned.
Wish list;
The Cure;
Bruce Springsteen (you know as he was “there” this year;
Senseless Things (I have a number);
Placebo;
Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes;
Birdeatsbaby (simply wonderful);
Crows (please. They are brilliant and transfixing, a bit like NIN, who would also be on the list)
Pearl Jam.
Thanks SallyJ, I know you deliver x
The Mission, The Lottery Winners, Peter Hook, Slow Readers Club, She Makes War, Manics.
The guy in the photo. Oh Sees are touring the UK next May 😉
Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs !! I have no more requests …. except maybe a Carter USM reunion or Gary Numan !! Oh and Brian Stone on the woodland stage, along with Ghosts Of Men …. Doozer playing the woodland would be ace too !! That is all … cheers !!
Terrorvision, The Damned, Hothouse Flowers, Manics, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Hayseed Dixies( I think that’s right?) Dubioza ( amazing last time) would be happy with most of the suggestions others have made. We’re coming anyway!! Always a fantastic weekend.
