Ahead of Africa Oyé & Kitchen St present Extra Soul Perception on Monday night in Liverpool, ESP are delighted to announce Oye alumni, Esa as their Musical Director!

"Esa has brought new ideas and guidance to the tracks made in Nairobi, lifting it to a higher plane.

Having worked with Mim Suleiman and Ata Kak in a similar role, Esa is about as good as it gets at transforming music from the studio to the stage. We cant wait to share his vision on the upcoming tour."

•Donate whatever you can in the Oyé charity buckets carried by our volunteers on-site at the festival. ⁣

•Join us at other Africa Oyé events throughout the year, including our after parties after the festival⁣.

•Donate via the donate button on our website...whatever the amount it really does help africaoye.com⁣

•Volunteer at Oyé! Find out more on our website. ⁣

If we all do just one of these things, it'll be a great step towards keeping Oyé free for years to come. Please help spread the word and #supportoye ⁣
