Oyé Introduces…

Satin Beige, who will open the festival this year on Saturday 22 June with her cello-infused R&B, combined with velvet vocals and sultry lyrics bringing an intoxicating mix of sensuality and sass to Sefton Park. LIPA Graduate has previously wowed audiences at the likes of Threshold Festival and Liverpool Loves and now the Africa Oyé audience will get to experience her unique vibe and sound.

Urban solo artist TABITHA JADE will start the day of music on Sunday 23 June. Named as the ‘One To Watch’ by both LIMF Academy and the Urban Music Awards, Tabitha released her latest singe in April, entitled ‘Caught UP’, which is a slice of fresh afro-swing that will be keeping the crowds on the dance floor.

We saw both of these artists performing at the brilliant Threshold Festival and are excited to show a part of Liverpool’s forward-facing creative scene by showcasing young talent here at Africa Oyé.

Join us THIS WEEKEND 22-23 June at Sefton Park, #Liverpool #FreeEntry

Dancing in the park is one of our favourite things to do...

We might not be able to gather together in Sefton Park and dance the weekend away, but we can still dance where ever we may be.
