Latest update from London Jazz Festival

Experience the vibrant musical cultures of the Middle East and North Africa at this year’s festival.

With only 10 days to go, find out which shows to book to see some of the best musicians these parts of the world have to offer.

👉 We have a amazing selection of shows from MARSM UK who bring the rich music of the Arabic-speaking world to London’s doorstep. See the likes of Tarek Yamani trio, ‘AlMassrieen’ ft. Hany Shenoda, Saied Silbak – سعيد سلباق, Banah + more.

👉 From our friends at the Arts Canteen, enjoy a night of 1950s music with renowned vocalist Ahmed Harfoush and The Egyptian Jazz Project. Plus experience the dream-pop and cinematic sounds from musician and songwriter Nadine Khouri.

👉 Turquazz will host a London pop-up celebrating the famous Nardis Jazz Club from Istanbul. Expect live performances, gatherings and film screenings including Paşa Çelik’s ‘Middle East’ which will showcase a mixture of original music, “Middle Eastern” melodies and jazz standards.

PLUS don’t miss out on seeing Dhafer Youssef perform his new project with Ballake Sissoko and Eivind Aarset ‘Digital Africa’ as he explores his African roots from a new and modern perspective.
