Next summer Mikkel Karstad & Family will be back at Chef’s Table to create uniquely simple green dishes and desserts; all based on vegetables, wild herbs, fruits, and berries locally produced on Funen. On large platters, the organic and local food will be served together with wine, cider, beer, and homemade juices in the most beautiful setting in Egeskov Slotspark.
Karstad’s passion is based on an honest and simple approach to food with a focus on green and local ingredients. He has been a gastronomic advisor to Claus Meyer for many years and has written several green cookbooks.
Chef’s Table by Mikkel Karstad & Family takes place Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9.
