11pm Pearls Cab Ride
Way back in 1991 two like minds met in a taxi queue after a night out and a conversation ensued about their shared love of old soul and latin records. Pearls Cab Ride was born and after recruiting musicians with the chops to fulfill the vision the band gigged regularly all around the country. The funk fizzled out late into the decade but was soon resurrected and in 2017 PCR are on of the hottest bands in town.
Latinesque R,n,B with a driving funky soul, this musical brew is eased along by some of the city’s hottest players. Percussion work-outs feature along with blistering guitar, blinding brass and rhythmic keys topped off by the formidable vocals of Hull’s ‘pocket rocket’ Lyn Acton.

10.15pm The New Coast
The New Coast is the moniker of East London duo Nick Blyth and Chris Cheater. Born from an infatuation with American cinema and pop culture, The New Coast have created their own distinct style of pure Indie Pop.

9.30pm Yasmin Coe
Yasmin is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Hull. She’s grown up surrounded by music, courtesy of her parents Andy & Priya Coe of the legendary Yo Yo Indie club night. A musical prodigy, Yasmin plays guitar, piano, violin & clarinet and studies at the Music Academy in Hull.
