“…we were knocked out by their fierce sound, hook-laden songwriting and baaad attitude. They played a searing session for us which sent social media wild and gained them new fans and assured them a place in our hearts forever” – Melita Dennett, BBC Introducing South
Lexi Clark and Kit Reeve from successful Surrey quartet, Hearts Under Fire, formed Screech Bats in the summer of 2015. Initially considered to be a ‘side project’ with pals Rio Hellyer and Esme Baker, Screech Bats quickly grew into something much more.
‘Wish You Were Her’ out March 30th, pre-order at screechbats.com
Kid Kapichi – www.facebook.com/KidKapichi
Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music) – ‘Muscly Riffage from Sussex’
NME Radar – ‘With a libs-esque front line of twin songwriters Ben Beetham and Jack Wilson, this unsigned band won’t remain that way for long’
Hedonistic Hastings quartet Kid Kapichi are setting the scene alight with their riff-filled, riotous rock music that promises to kick you even when you’re down. March 30th sees the release of ‘Lucozade Dreams’, the peyote laced follow up to their self titled debut EP, and the frantic four-piece are poised for big things amidst the backdrop of a newly revived era in British guitar music.
Bloodlines – www.facebook.com/OfficialBloodlines
Bloodlines are a high-intensity rock band from the Highlands of Scotland. Known for their antics and drive, Bloodlines have been often described as one of the best live acts in Scotland, and their track record shows it with stand-out performances across the country at festivals including T in the Park and Belladrum, as well as regular sold out shows.
The Menstrual Cramps – www.facebook.com/TheMenstrualCramps
Riot Grrrl Punk band based in London, UK. Emilia on vocals, Cooper on guitar and Robyn on bass (with alternate drummers). We write, record and produce all our material ourselves, taking inspiration from the 90’s DIY culture of Riot Grrrl. Our tracks are political, raw, feminist, funny, current and relatable. We say what we mean and mean what we say. If we offend you it’s probably cus we’re talking about you and you should listen up.
