Lots Holloway – http://www.facebook.com/lotshollowayofficial
Multi-instrumentalist Lots Holloway is a talented artist who produces, writes and creates all her own music. Since being signed to indie label Why I? Records in 2016, Lots has gone on to release a stream of infectious and original indie-pop tunes. From this, Lots has picked up ever more support, not just from fans and peers, but also from respected press outlets, influential radio stations and underground indie magazines. This alt-pop star’s debut single ‘World’s On Fire’ is a catchy, relevant and meaningful song that was written in reaction to the crazy events the world has seen over the last few years; and, as a result, is truly stirring. Complete with a great video, it really announced her arrival in style.
Holloway’s talent for song writing really shines through; in clever lyrics, strong melodies and memorable songs that manage to stay with you long after you first hear them – and the music behind the words is always just as powerful. Based around live instruments (drums, guitar and bass), Lots then spreads clever layers of sounds from the freaky and psychedelic end of the spectrum. Holloway’s music is bursting with inventive synths and weird sounds.
All this adds up to something truly fresh and original, and a live show from Lots Holloway is just as compelling. Lots’ on stage presence is second to none. Holloway is enchanting and captivating, and fronting a full live band she only becomes more powerful.
KID CUPID – http://www.facebook.com/kidcupidmusic
North and South collide to create anthemic Alt-Pop. The Geordie front woman’s alluring vocals cut above gritty, pulsating rhythms and powerful harmonies.
Born out of a sweaty south London room, Kid Cupid mix immersive soundscapes with a captivating, live performance.
Natalie Shay – http://www.facebook.com/NatalieShayMusic
18 year old multi award winning singer/songwriter and BRIT School graduate, who is no stranger to playing venues across London, Including. The Roundhouse, The 100 club, Hard Rock Café, ronnie scotts and the Brooklyn Bowl at the O2. Natalie has supported acts as diverse as Soul II Soul, Hudson Taylor, J P Cooper, Mullally and Sex pistol, Glen Matlock…
Elevant – http://www.facebook.com/ElevantMusik
Elevant are a rock and roll band that can do everything, sometimes within the space of one song. Since their formation in 2014 they’ve fused a host of disparate influences into a sound that can be dark and atmospheric, heavy and crushing, or irresistibly grooving. The trio sounds far vaster than the sum of their parts.
Deep City Diver – http://www.facebook.com/deepcitydiverband
Deep City Diver are an emerging indie rock band based in Hackney, East London. Comprised of members from Sydney and Stoke-on-Trent, their debut self-titled album was released in October 2017. The oldest song on the album, ‘As the Crow Flies’, was written when singer Ryan Nicolussi was still a teenager. Part intimate ballad, part stadium-sized singalong, the track evokes those euphoric festival moments that send shivers down the spine.
Lara Smiles – http://www.facebook.com/larasmilesmusic
‘Her spikiest confection to date.. with hints of electro and industrial, that doesn’t forget to pack a punchy chorus.
Paul Lester – THE GUARDIAN
Davy Flats & The Holy Innocents – http://www.facebook.com/davyflats
A mediocre drummer by trade, Davy Flats’ first dalliance into the music industry was in 2008, when he formed The Coonics (later Strange Boats) with three childhood friends. After releasing a number of well received singles and an album, the band took a break and Davy relocated from the west of Ireland to north London where he started writing his first songs at the age of 32. An old man at heart, Davy’s songs tend to be observations about important topics such as Brexit, political correctness, infidelity, religion, consumerism and food fads. Currently recording his debut album, Davy has released three successful singles to date including ‘Avocado’ and ‘Snowflakes’;
JD Kelleher – http://www.facebook.com/JDKelleher008
JD Kelleher started our as an actor in his native Ireland and has had a successful acting career on both sides of the pond, including the West End and National Theatres here in London. He launched himself as a rocker in 2015, when Ireland went to the polls on Marriage Equality, taking his cover of the Joy Division classic Love Will Tear Us Apart, to the top of the rock charts. His debut EP, The Ugly Tree, followed and included Imagery which reached number 2. Bitten by the rock n roll bug, JD is now a feature on the London live music scene. With his cracking band and growing fanbase, JD performs regularly at The Dublin Castle, Camden and The Water Rats in Kings Cross. Check out some smashing music videos, a striking stage persona and masses of vocal talent. Kelleher has found his medium. Once you have seen and heard him, you won’t forget him in a hurry.
