Camden Rocks Festival proudly presents an all-day rock-n-roll bonanza feat. Outer Stella Overdrive, Max Stone, Shea Rafferty (‘To The Morning Sky’ album release show), JFK Blue, TIGER MIMIC, Francesca Louise, Michael Lukes, Mohan, Diverbandofficial and Silent Self at The Lounge Promotion: Nightclub Kolis.

Since the continued success of Camden Rocks Festival, we’re running a string of ‘presents’ shows to give you some of the best new alternative, indie, rock & metal music about!

Outer Stella Overdrive –
Outer Stella Overdrive are an incredibly exciting proposition. They’re the sound of now, a vital, exhilarating band that soundtrack London on the brink of a new decade. The melting pot of genres, the urgency and the anything goes approach add up to a very special new band that have the potential to make a real impact over the next six months and more.

Max Stone –
Max stone and his band play a mix of Reggae, Soul and R&b. Originating in London and currently recording music which is set to release in Dec/Jan 2019/20.

Shea Rafferty –
‘To The Morning Sky’ Album Release Show.
Northern Ireland-born, North London-based Shea is a singer/songwriter with stories to share. Drawing influence from legendary American giants of song Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, as well as contemporary artists such as Ryan Adams and War On Drugs, Shea is fast acquiring a reputation as a distinctive, singular voice on the UK’s Americana gig circuit.

JFK Blue –
JFK Blue are a London based 3 year old band. The band is very much an international outfit where East meets West Europe personnel wise, as one member is Latvian and another hails from Russia. This creates a musical melange which isn’t formulaic as influences are drawn from Blues and Rock but also from Classical and Jazz.

Tiger Mimic formed in the autumn of 2018 and immediately got to work recording their debut EP with Grammy Award winning producer Matt Lawrence (Van Morrison, Mumford & Sons, Amy Winehouse), which was released in January of 2019 and garnered significant support from radio, blogs, and promoters. Over the past year they have established themselves as a band to watch on the London scene, getting invited to play the sold-out debut Cro Cro Land Festival in April 2019, The Brighton Mix-Up (Great Escape Fringe), Camden Crush (Camden Rocks Fringe), and getting selected to support UK veterans Republica in November 2019. Most recently they were signed to 31% Wool Management & Records and have recorded new material with producer Kevin Vanbergen (Kid Kapichi, Nova Twins) to be released in early 2020.

Francesca Louise –
Francesca Louise is a London based singer-songwriter originally from the North West of England, who recently played support for brit/pop band Echobelly at St Pancras Old Church, London. With radio plays and live sessions with BBC Introducing and independent radios alike, and a recent slot at How The Light Gets In Festival in Wales, Francesca Louise is making her way up the musical ladder and is showcasing her capabilities across the UK.
Francesca Louise collaborates with other musicians, both nationally and internationally, in writing and arranging original songs (available to stream and purchase).

Michael Lukes –
Michael Lukes is an indie/pop/folk singer-songwriter born in England who lives between Rome & London. Exposed at an early age to various music movements mainly from the UK scene he began to cultivate his interest in music, performing in various bands.

Mohan –
Mohan. singer, writer, multi instrumentalist, and aspiring producer, Family of Sam Brown (Singer/Artist) Robin Wynn Evans (producer) Joe Brown (Artist) Vicki Brown (singer). Mohan Evans began as an acoustic singer songwriter, releasing his first EP in 2014, which he coproduced with his Father Robin Wynn Evans, and Uncle, Pete Brown. Since then Mo has been working as a producer, performer, writer and musician. Exploring new fields inside pop, jazz, soul and hiphop. Mohan has finished his newest record in London (Some Day EP) and is will be sharing it with the world in 2020.

Diverbandofficial –
Diver are an alt-rock-folk duo (Emanuele Haerens, Zsolt Simon) based in London. Their setup is a combination of rock songwriting and power-folk rhythms all filtered through their European roots. The duo come from their respective 10-year rock band experiences in Italy and Hungary.
Their eyes are now fixed on building their live gig portfolio as they’ve just released their first EP.

Silent Self –
Silent Self formed in 2016 with guitarist Tom Abbott & singer songwriter Steve Clarke wanting to make no nonsense melodic indie rock. The band quickly came together with the additions of Andy McDonald on drums and David Galifi on bass providing the backbone of what has become a strong and dynamic team. Sonically, the band are all about driving melodies and steady grooves infused with progressive beats and catchy hooks.
