5 years on from our 25th anniversary festival, Dainton’s 30th anniversary festival continues to celebrate everything that Dainton has to offer. Our driving range is transformed into an outdoor music venue which will be hosting live music through the afternoon into the evening with a selection of food from our wonderful chefs and drink to suit all.
Music is this year provided by local duo Mafia Babies who are an acoustic and often comedic duo, performing a fresh take on many songs old and new! Following them is another local band, Superstition. Superstition play a wide range of music to suit all tastes and are guaranteed to get you up and dancing. Following on from them is Jon Clare & The Fabulous Doughboys, who will be playing their distinctive boogie-woogie, rock n roll and dance classics. All this coupled with great bass & drums with superb harmonies, Jon Clare & The Fabulous Dough Boys are one band you will never forget! The grand music finale of the night is Majesty – Queen Tribute. Majesty play tribute to Queen in their own way, each performance is slightly different in an ‘anything could happen’ way – making it fun for them and you! All of Queens iconic tracks are covered and you won’t be disappointed and will leave Dainton singing and clapping.
You can’t come to Dainton without eating, and if you know Dainton you know we do food well! Dave our Head Chef and his fantastic team will be providing you with a BBQ, Hog Roast and Paella. If you fancy spicing things up a little, local company Jaspers Rickshaw will be there with their authentic Thai and Indian foods.
Another local company The Coffee Stop will be serving their delicious range of freshly ground coffee along with a choice of hot teas and mouth watering hot chocolate.
To wash it all down Anna, Jen and Hels will be leading the Dainton bar team with a fully equipped bar stocking a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
On entry you will be given your own commemorative Dainton tumbler to take home and reuse. The Dainton own food and drink stands will be operating a token payment policy which can be bought on entering the range. The independent vendors will be cash / card payments.
