Sunday, September 15 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
After the huge success of our first 2018 event, the Cheam Celebration of Food & Drink will be returning to Cheam Park on the Sunday 15th September 2019.
We guarantee you more stalls than 2018 selling the best produce, street food and crafts, our bars will be keeping you well refreshed with something for everyone and our main stage is sure to keep you entertained.
Our chilli eating competition will of course take place at 2.45pm
Our goal is to make this event accessible to everyone, so keeping to our word it will remain:
Free Children’s Crafts
Free Festival Glitter & Face Painting
Free Kids Activity Zone
A new addition will be our child friendly drink station within the kids area.
Although only in its second year the Cheam Celebration of Food & Drink enjoys an exceptional reputation in the community as a place for friends & families and to come together. We are known for being a free inclusive and welcoming event, delivering a delicious opportunity for people from all walks of life to explore and learn about food.
We pride ourselves on trader interaction and encouraging people to look differently at where their food comes from and how it is produced.
So, where did it all begin? The Cheam Celebration of Food & Drink was created by 1 local resident who had moved away from the area in 1987 to go into HM Forces, when he returned some 30 years later the town and community he remembered had gone. As a food lover himself and his passion for social eating a free entry non-profit food and drink festival seemed the best way of reuniting the community.
In its first year over 8,000 people from the local area attended the celebration and to the traders delight they ate, drank, danced and connected with friend until the food was no more and the barrels were dry.

We look forward to seeing you there.
