Bluedot Festival announces 2023 lineup
With six decades of legendary performing under her belt the infamous Grace Jones will be headlining bluedot’s main stage in her only northern show of the summer whilst Lo-fi pioneers, Pavement, will also be headlining this year’s festival in a UK exclusive performance. If that wasn’t enough the electropop queen Roisin Murphy will be performing her first ever headline festival slot while electronic duo, Leftfield, will be wowing festival goers with their return to bluedot.
Elsewhere on the bill are Mercury prize winning Young Fathers, Swedish electro outfit Little Dragon, art rockers Django Django, Dance Party DJ Annie Mac, feted post-punk four-piece Dry Cleaning, Malian desert blues pioneers Tinariwen, alt-pop pin-up Baxter Dury and experimental rockers Black Country, New Road.
bluedot has also revealed the first science names for 2023, including BBC Sky at Nights Christ Lintott and Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Braniac Live and renowned climate change researcher and author, Mike Berners Lee. The full science bill will be announced in the coming weeks.
