Yam the cassava please come back you served the best food there for 30 years I miss you ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I'll be selling my Glasto inspired prints and paintings (and my landscapes, florals and abstracts) right by the bandstand....come and see me...celebrating 30 years of trading Glastonbury Festival (official) this year https://alceharfield.com/glastonbury-festival-somerset-painting/

Will there be many stalls offering gluten free (especially food suitable for children)?. Needs to be coeliac safe. We came a few years ago and really struggled to get vendors that understood the risks of cross contamination. We had to trek all over the site to find places...it would be useful to know in advance so we know where we can safely head to.

Loved the filled Yorkshire pub in 2017 x

All the new stages and all, look brilliant. Enjoy, everybody.

Thank You Sooo much for the VEGAN stalls My son & daughter in law usually dive into a Glastonbury Cheese fest but this year are coming as VEGAN and were a bit worried about the food issue Ive just told her about the stalls shes especially excited about VEGAN HALLOUMI is there any way we can find out where to find these stalls please?

The Lush Creperie makes award winning sweet and savoury crepes with gluten free and vegan options too. Behind the pyramid!! Www.thelushcreperie.co.uk

Leon's food stall will be back (1982-2019 so far) and we shall have more wild food than ever as we have replaced Italian parsley with ground elder, we are visiting the coast twice this week to collect early season tender samphire and also sea purslane and I went out in March with my nettle detector and was most successful. Wild garlic will make an appearance on Saturday with the Leonese Feast plate of 8 or more items on a ten inch plate. No food for a fiver but the £10 offering is so big, most people share it! Oh, Lush crepes are good and you will find us in the West Holts field (the dry field!) near Brother's Cider stand. Copies of my cookery book will be on sale with tales of Glastonbury past.

I'd have thought that attending a festival held on a dairy farm, that have to lock the cows away for a few weeks, would be against most vegans "principles"? ๐Ÿ™„

Food for a fiver. That's not expensive at all. Perhaps you can have a £10 for a whaz campaign. Or £5,000,000 for a tent campaign. That'll really help poor people who come to the festival. I guess the idea of food for a fiver is somehow a fair price if you're wealthy enough to get yourself a job in the modern music industry and you're used to eating out most nights for £150.

*****PIE SALOON***** Near the other stage, vegan pie and fries with vegan Gravy!! All the trimmings, mushy peas, beans to with super fast service!!

All the Vegan food ๐Ÿคช awesomely good!

Any food vendors require staff for the weekend? ๐Ÿ˜‚

And they'll be tiny portions again? I really hope the newsagent shop is there. Custard Creams for 50p!!!

**Ticket for sale** - Can no longer go to festival. DM for details

The fish finger stall and the roast dinner stall are the best! Along with a cheeky noodle stall by the bandstand

Does anybody know if the Yeo Valley stall is returning this year? ๐Ÿ„

Well I've never had full vegan food so I might have some

Sod that! There better be plenty of hog roast places, steak places and the odd kebab van as well! Some of us still like meat ( unbelievably) especially after a few beers ๐Ÿคช

£5 bought me a portion of chips in 2015

I really hope the bagel van by the Other Stage have learnt to serve quicker... it’s so painfully slow ๐Ÿฅด

Really hope Coeliacs are catered for ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Still £1 for a pint of milk, Eavis? In a plastic bottle. From Yorkshire? Sold on where else but a milk farm. Hypocrite.

Think it will also be a very wet and muddy one this year ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Or £10 for a meal worth eating

On the Thursday (June 27) of this yearโ€™s Festival, there will be an Extinction Procession, giving you the chance to stand up and demand changes to the way we live as a society, so that we can avoid a climate catastrophe.

The event - which we have organised alongside the Green Fields, Greenpeace and Extinction Rebellion - will begin at 4pm at the Park Stage, where guest speakers will make a stand for our planet and the precious habitats that it hosts.

The procession will then make its way to the Sacred Space (aka the Stone Circle) in the King's Meadow within the Green Fields, where we plan to create the largest ever human sculpture of an hourglass โ€“ symbolising extinction โ€“ at 5.30pm.

One of the many reasons I love this festival

What a wonderful idea, but let's hope this year the Glastonbury visitors take home their tents, chairs, wellies, recycling and single use plastics! There seems to be a strange irony here unless this year there is a sea change!

But happy to have 5g tested at the festival even though there are health concerns for humans as well as bees and other insects??

Hope there is someone who stands up for the authentic human body as 5G rages through the cells of all the people there and throughout the Glastonbury Festival site. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

A dairy farm holding an extinction procession ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Now here's a crazy idea in terms of taking a stand for changes in the way we treat the environment - how about you force everyone to take their tents and chairs home, and prohibit the use of single use plastic during the festival? Now THAT is rock'n'roll! ๐Ÿค˜โœŠ

But the rubbish and tents and other stuff left behind as well as all the electricity etc used at the festival is hardly great for the environment. Hopefully no single use plastics available there!

Why don’t you do a mass litter pick every day at a certain time, wouldn’t that be more beneficial? X

Great idea, good to meet but with like minded peps...

Tonnes of the 1% purveying the virtues of their hippypocrisy on huge swathes of land claimed upon the grounds of nepotism and entitlement alone where a city the size of Bath will be raised and levelled in barely two weeks, on the site where agricultuiral farming has been torturing animals and sowing seeds fo destruction upon our earth... Jokes

Make sure you take your rubbish home with you and recycle every bit you can. That’s more important than joining the procession.

This is one of the leading factors of climate disaster... dairy farming is a massive polutent. XR are a joke

Gotta love those that would not go to glasto, but love commenting negative, immature comments on anything glasto related ๐Ÿ˜‚ well done Glastonbury. It's working.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ and your allowing 5g at the festival? What hypocrites

Glastonbury used to be for the music & having a good time but lost its way since all this polictal BS has infected it. Glad I had my days there when I did.

Isnt it against the point doing a Green peace rally at a festival where it projects so much light and noise pollution into the atmosphere

I know its on a,much bigger scale but shouldnt matter, they should take a,leaf out of shindigs,site...very impressive after pics, with clean feilds

How depressing it is reading through these comments. Seems most punters are now thinly disguised Tories; Hunter wellies, Barbour jackets and heads full of climate change denial. I'll stay at home thanks.

Take your tent home and don’t leave your campsite in a state. That’s a good start

Just hope everyone takes their tents home and not leave them for trash ๐Ÿ™„

Don’t allow tents onsite unless they have the ticket number indelibly written on to them........then if it is left onsite a-banned for life, b-fined for fly tipping and c-I don’t have a c but I’m sure I could all rethink of one ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘

Here's an idea ..... cancel the festval and help the planet by not using fuel to get there, save the mega watts of lekky .... no? Hypocrites the lot of you.

Why don’t you hold it on the Monday after the festival, A) folk wont have to see the tripe and b) you can doing something meaningful and litter pick

Nah not now Extinction Rebellion are accepting money off this crowd of hypocrites. #BDS #RADIODEAD "Thom Yorke wrote ...........The band are donating the money raised by the release to climate change activists Extinction Rebellion."
