First booking for Glastonbury 2018? Arcadia Roots…

An on-stage endorsement from Michael Eavis at the official Glastonbury aftershow party is pretty much as good as a cast-iron guarantee of a slot at the next festival – so we reckon Arcadia Roots may take the prize for the first (almost) confirmed band of 2019.

As reported in the Halesowen News, the Wyre Forest band got a big thumbs up from the Glasto head-honcho, and from this track we can see just why that was.

Understated tribal basslines with ephemeral vocals drifting and oozing around the sparse instrumentation, this is smart stuff.

It does sound great - did anyone else hear faint echoes of Stairway to Heaven?
