Latest update from Coastal Currents
So much going on this is a monthly report, not weekly. Some of the amazing events and people this September in Hastings: humbled to open Sanctuary Festival and Seafood and Wine Festival, thousands turned up : discoveries thanks to the unique Coastal Currents festival included the new upstairs gallery that completes Electro Studios, the rich painting of Mo El-Kadey at Mama Putts (both still on!) and a vibrant studio set up in the Labour HQ on Bohemia Road : a passionate debate about accessing art at Hastings Creatives in the new Tea Museum, make your own tea at new Hastings Commons, West Street vibe around the Dirty Old Gallery, a two day visit from new Arts Council boss that included the unique insights of Project Art Works. Oh yes, and at last a real dance for Sally and I after two years to the inspiring mixes of Wendy May at Rock v Racism gig.
Thanks all, you make this town so special.
