Opening this weekend…Art Walks: Finding inspiration in the world around

Opening: 18/19 September 10am – 4pm at: Hastings Country Park, Old Visitor Centre, Lower Coastguard Ln, Fairlight, Hastings, TN35 4AD

Then: 24 – 26 September & 1 – 3 October 11am – 4pm at: Zoom Arts Gallery, St Leonards Warrior Square Railway Station, Kings Rd, St Leonards, TN37 6DY

Prints by Catherine & Martha Orbach and ceramics by Emma Harding.
Catherine and Martha collaborate as Printwalks, using the walk as the starting point for a collaborative
print process. During lockdown they made individual walks in Hastings and Glasgow, resulting in 40+ prints that track the changing seasons from March 2021 to February 2021.

Emma Harding’s ceramics investigate the patterns in nature, repeated in the make-up of our brains. She is looking at the way we travel through and relate to the natural world. Individual pieces incorporate mosaic
or weaving.
