hey Camp Bestivalites, hope you’re not too sweaty… let’s hope the weather gods keep this going for our weekend! It’s slightly surreal finally being back onsite after a year away but we’ve quickly fallen back into our old routine and the team are beavering away like ants in the shadow of Lulworth Castle building some incredible structures and marking out your favourite bits and bobs. With just over a week to go I thought I’d share 3 things you shouldn’t miss at this year’s festivities…
1) Fatgirl Slim… playing in the Bollywood tent, Fatboy Slim’s 11-year-old daughter Nelly has been practising on her decks for months for this moment so let’s raise the roof…and it’s also her dad’s birthday so make double the noise!
2) Sleep Walkers – a circus spectacular.. our circus maestros Cirque Bijou and Bullzini High Wire have devised a brand-new epic show just for you guys, happening on Saturday night in the Magic Meadow…
3) New music! I’ve always been a champion of breaking new artists at our festivals and this year is no different – step up the Isle of Wight’s finest Wet Leg, currently one of the UK’s hottest indie acts (4pm Big Top Sunday), one of the UK’s best new rappers Master Peace (4pm Big Top Saturday) and the incomparable Self Esteem (5pm Big Top Friday).
Lastly thanks to everyone for your understanding with the COVID-19 guidelines, which we’ve tried to keep as simple and easy to follow as possible and are in line with pretty much every other major music and sports event this summer.
We cannot wait to open those gates on Thursday and see your smiles for miles!

Please, please, please, please, please, please, please don’t let Covid stop us going this year (we’re all regular LFTers because of our role as Shared Lives carers). My heart couldn’t take the disappointment of not being able to go. My inner festival-child has been sat on the naughty step too long, and wants to be free.
Does anyone know whether we can roll-over again if this happens? Can we take out insurance? I know the day tickets had a cancellation insurance option.

Camp Bestival – PLEASE HELP!!! I can’t get any assistance through you or ticketmaster via your email, messenger or Twitter , nor through ticketmaster – this will be our 7th Camp B!!! Can we swap 2 teen tickets for 5-9 year olds?!! That’s all I want to know how to do …. Not unreasonable since it’s been nearly 2 years since we booked and we are loyal fans of Camp B. Thanks! ♥️
