We’d like to show our support to our friends at Birmingham Pride as they rebuild their page. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧
At the beginning of December 2021, the Birmingham Pride Facebook page was subjected to a malicious, highly coordinated cyberattack, that resulted in them taking over the page fraudulently. We have since attempted, daily, to regain control of the page through Facebook, without success. Despite daily communication and every effort internally and externally, Facebook has not reinstated the page or given any indication that they intend to do so. We have been going round in circles for TWO months, without success. Over the last 12 years, we have amassed 70,000 followers on the Birmingham Pride page, who follow us for community details, comment and details about the Birmingham Pride… More

What’s happened to the old page, is it still active and the followers of the old one will they be safe?
