Will Smith has shared a video recalling the “first and only time” he met his “idol” Michael Jackson in a closet. Check it out below.

The actor and rapper shared the video on his own Youtube channel, where he revealed that the antics of Suge Knight at the BET Awards led to him being “shoved me into this dirty-ass utility closet”, complete with “mops and interrogation lightbulbs” – where he found that he was not alone.

“I’m standing there and I got my head up against the door and I’m listening to people running and I’m hearing screaming and stuff, and I’m like ‘yo, this is crazy – Shuggs is a lunatic,” says Smith, before checking that Knight was still in jail so as to avoid repercussions. “Then all of a sudden, it starts to quiet.

“Then I hear ‘hey’,” continues Smith, delivering a high-pitched Jackson impression. “And I’m like ‘oh shit!’ Then I turn around and Michael Jackson is behind me in the closet. I was like ‘Oh! Mike?’”

He then continues to deliver a pretty impressive impression as he relays their conversation about “Shuggs is always trippin’”, comic books, Smith’s lack of knowledge about comic, and his missed fanboy opportunities. Check out the full story above.

Earlier this year, Smith also recreated Jaden Smith‘s music video for ‘Icon’ to mark his son’s ‘SYRE’ album notching up 100 million streams on Spotify.

He also appeared to lend his support to the idea of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air returning as an animated series.

Recently, the actor shared a cartoon version of his character, as drawn by artist Howard Russell, on his Instagram page. “Now THIS is what’s up,” he captioned the post. “I had to post this hot piece by @thesketchlab. Never thought about FP in terms of animation.”
