The legendary rockers are heading stateside
The Rolling Stones have announced details of their upcoming 2019 stadium tour.
The legendary band will bring their No Filter Show to the US next year. You can see the band’s full schedule below.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood kicked off the UK leg of the No Filter tour with two huge gigs at the London Stadium in May. Liam Gallagher was reunited with former Oasis member Bonehead during a support slot, while James Bay joined the Stones for a special rendition of ‘Beast of Burden’.
NME attended the homecoming gig, writing: “Neon visuals lit up the crowd as Jagger shuffled, slipped and slunk his way along the boardwalk that jutted out into the audience… the Stones went from strength to strength.”
Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts recently revealed their pre-show rituals they each undergo prior to going on stage with The Rolling Stones.
“Backstage before the show, I like to relax and chill out,” said Jagger. “Just before the show, I get all like, ‘Ahh!’ So, sometimes I like to get everybody out of the room for a minute and just calm down and do my singing.
“I have Bob Marley things that I kind of sometimes do and move around to. And then I do a dance warm-up: I do a couple of, like, current tunes for a dance warm-up.”
Tickets to the new shows are on sale from 10am on Friday November 30 and will be available here. There will be a special fan pre-sale on Wednesday November 28 at 10am
