Paramore have shared a new video for ‘Rose-Colored Boy’.
The video, which was directed by The Weeknd and Haim collaborator Warren Fu, features the band playing a very ’80s-looking news team putting on a happy front when the cameras are on, and hounded by TV execs to “smile more” when they’re not. Later, front woman Hayley Williams is faced with an image of her younger self before having an out-of-body experience.
Recently, Paramore invited Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo to perform with them live on stage after he and his band covered their song ‘Misery Business‘.
Last year, footage emerged online of the young actor and his band Work In Progress covering Paramore along with Foo Fighters and Fall Out Boy. Check it out below.
Afterwards, Williams invited Matarazzo to play with them in future. “I saw your band’s Miz Biz cover and all i can say is: ‘open invite to crash a pmore stage and thrash those luscious locks around (& harmonize, obv) whenever the spirit (of rock) leads you’,” she wrote on Twitter.
Matarazzo then replied: “Dude!! Yesss!!!! Let’s make this happen! Thanks.”
