NME Festival blog: Liam Gallagher fans react to Manchester homecoming show selling out
Tickets for Liam Gallagher’s huge homecoming Manchester show sold out within minutes, having gone on sale at 9am today (Friday November 24).
The former Oasis frontman tweeted a link for tickets to his gig at Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford LCC Cricket Ground (taking place August 18 2018), but fans are already expressing their frustration at missing out.
Yesterday (November 23), the ‘As You Were’ star unveiled a video for his ‘Come Back To Me’ track, directed by This Is England director Shane Meadows.
Many Liam obsessives aren’t enjoying the best start to their Friday. Some complained they were kicked out from the Ticketmaster payment page when entering their details.
However, some fans are pointing out that the occasional, small batch of tickets are appearing back online. Persistence has paid off.
A few lucky sods managed to get theirs.
