Dream team.

Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar have joined forces for a new track called ‘Tints’.

The collaboration is the first single taken from .Paak’s new album, ‘Oxnard’, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Malibu’

‘Tints’, which was produced by .Paak and Om’Mas Keith, debuted as Zane Lowe’s ‘World Record’ on Beats 1 today (October 4).

Paak explained to Lowe the process of collaborating with Lamar: “He’s the most humble, selfless, amazing, focused young gentleman I’ve ever met.

“Some people you can trust to just send it and they gonna send it back and it’s gonna be flames. I just knew that would be the case with him.”

The rapper’s new album, thought to drop by the end of 2018, is expected to feature Dr. Dre, DOOM and Freddie Gibbs producer Madlib.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, .Paak said: “This is the album I dreamed of making in high school, when I was listening to [Jay-Z]’s ‘The Blueprint’, The Game’s ‘The Documentary’, and [Kanye West’s] ‘The College Dropout’”.

Meanwhile, Lamar is rumoured to be headlining Coachella 2019 along with Justin Timberlake and Childish Gambino.
