The heavy metal trio will join Monster Magnet, Graveyard, Eyehategod and Napalm Death in Camden, May 4-6, 2018
High On Fire have been announced as the final headliner’s for 2018’s Desertfest in London. The Californian metal band will be celebrating 20 years together at the festival.
The annual festival – which will once again be held in Camden for its 2018 edition – welcomes acts from the sonic worlds of stoner rock, doom, sludge and psych for a whole weekend of live music and entertainment. Desertfest have said of their final headliners: “High On Fire’s sludgy-thrash vibrations are an unstoppable wrecking force, with seven seminal albums under their belt; we are more than ready for the HOF tidal wave to hit.”
The underground event will take place over the weekend of May 4-6 and will also see sets from Monster Magnet – who will be playing their only UK show of 2018 at the event, Graveyard, Napalm Death, Eyehategod, Weedeater, The Obsessed – who are making their first UK appearance in two decades, Elder, Church of Misery, Warning, Zeke, Akercocke, Jex Thoth, Black Rainbows, Death Alley, Black Moth, The Wizards, Puppy, Nebula (who are reforming for the festival) and many more.
