Two of the events took place yesterday (June 6) in Chicago and Miami, while the Brooklyn party will take place tonight
The first two of Kanye West‘s ‘Project Wyoming’ parties took place in Chicago and Miami last night – check out fan-shot photos and videos from the two events below.
The rapper has put the events on in support of his new album ‘ye’, which dropped last week (June 1). The parties are intending to evoke the spirit of the album listening party that West held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on the eve of ‘ye”s release.
‘Project Wyoming’ was debuted in both Chicago and Miami last night, with ticketholders treated to an exclusive listening experience – although West wasn’t in attendance at either event.
As Pitchfork reports, the Chicago event was held at the Kuipers Family Farm in Maple Park, Illinois – 55 miles west of the Windy City – while the Miami party took place at the RC Cola Plant in Wynwood.
Punters were met with a bonfire, DJs and the chance to buy exclusive merchandise. Rumours that ‘Project Wyoming’ would herald the premiere of new music from West were unfounded, however.
The final ‘Project Wyoming’ event will take place in Brooklyn, New York tonight (June 7).
Meanwhile, Drake’s mentor J Prince recently claimed that the Toronto rapper had a diss track “locked and loaded” in his beef with Pusha-T which could’ve been potentially “career-ending” for West.
