The popular and long-running Beverley Folk Festival has been cancelled after going into administration – meaning that those with advance tickets will be unable to acquire a refund.
The festival, which started in 1984 and was set to return to Beverley Racecourse for a sixth time in June, was due to see performances from the likes of Turin Brakes – with advance weekend tickets costing £110-£130. Now, the general future of the festival has been cast into doubt.
