London, United Kingdom
London,   Map

We are very proud to announce that SAFFRON from Indie-pop megaband REPUBLICA will be performing live at Popstarz Winter Pride 2018. A long time favourite of popstarz, Republica embody both the adrenaline rock mayhem of the Indie room and the unstoppable party vibe of the popstarz Pop Room. Expect to hear the global hits 'DROP DEAD GORGEOUS' and 'READY TO GO" plus some special on stage surprises! Tickets are selling fast grab yours now!

Popstarz returns to the Scala for one night only!

Clubbing legend popstarz teams up with Winter Pride to bring you a spectacular night of DJs, dancing and performance guaranteed to blast away the winter blues.

For twenty years popstarz ruled the roost in gay london entertaining millions of clubbers, known for its great music and friendly crowd popstarz sadly closed it doors a few years ago. So we are very excited to bring it back for one night of mashed up musically madness with FOUR rooms of tunes offering something for everyone.

Room 1: Indie
We Predict A Riot! Popstarz head honcho Tommy Turntables (popstarz/Ghetto) and popstarz regulars, Laurence Del Rey (Douchebag) and El Conchitas (Miss-Shapes/Mint) hold court in the main room serving up Brit-Pop classics and indie mega hits covering everything from Blondie to Blur. So come and 'Shake your meat to beat' just like the good old days.

Room 2: Pop
Hit Me Baby One More Time! The popstarz pop DJs will be digging through their record collection to serve up the best pop guilty pleasures on the planet and there's special sporadic surprise cabaret popping up all over the place! Pumping out the pop tunes are popstarz regulars; (and some of the best DJs in the business) DJ P, Holestar and Lady Lloyd.

Room 3: RnB
Queen of the popstarz Love Lounge DJ P is now one of the most sought after Female DJs in the world - but she has always got time for her popstarz family and is flying in from Dubai especilly for the night. And with special guests; Big John Freeman (Work/Urban World) and Qboy (R&She), two of hottest RnB DJs in the UK we reckon it's gonna get pretty damn Dirrrrty on thier Dancefloor.

Room 4: Girls Room
Mint are taking over the girls room ensuring you have the hottest, fun crowd of lady lovers at Winter Pride - with a stella lineup of fierce female DJs including Yvette Lindquist, Lady Lola and Izzy Trixx who's combined Girl Power is guaranteed to fuel the Glass Bar dancefloor all night long!

All this plus decor, special effects, 3D projections, fire dancers, community stalls, make overs, body painting and special performances make this an unmissable evening of music and magical winter mayhem!

VegfestUK returns to the South Coast after 9 fabulous years at one of the nation’s biggest concentrations of vegan food and products in Brighton. In 2018, there will be a slight makeover of featured areas to go along with the usual vibrant mix of stalls and culinary delights, and we are so excited to introduce a whole new world of vegan delights to everybody looking for more vegan options at our first event of 2018 at Brighton.

NEW featured areas will include The Veganuary reunion party on the Sunday, with Veganuary participants, staff, ambassadors, friends of the campaign involved – the party will be open to attendees of Brighton Vegfest too.

Returning to the Saturday part of the show is The FxEctive Factor competition with a range of talented vegan musicians and activists pitting their wits against each other in the spirit of showcasing the unique talents we’ve got in the UK vegan community right now.

Also making their debuts at VegfestUK Brighton 2018 are a trio of newly themed talks rooms, namely The Vegan Academy, with a diverse range of topics on veganism for everyone at various stages of their journeys towards veganism, followed by a couple of talks rooms on the benefits of Plant-Based Diets, one focused on Optimum Performance and the other focused on Optimum Health.

The Vegan Comedy Festival, which was introduced back in 2015 when VegfestUK made its first return to the modern, sleek and spacious Brighton Centre, will once again be a 2-day festival featuring some of the most original vegan comedians in the country.

Other exciting areas not to be missed include the Cookery Demos, the Mature Zone, the Kids Area, the Stage, plus the Art of Compassion Exhibition.

Of course, don’t miss the huge collection of around 230 stalls packed full of some of the best vegan products in the market, on top of 19 caterers serving a mouthwatering vegan menu at what is expected to be a very busy show.

Full lineups of stallholders and speakers are available at the show website

Deerstock 2018

Deerstock 2018

Jul 20, 6:00pm - Jul 22, 9:30pm

Deerstock is a charity- based boutique music festival that runs in 2018 from 20st-22nd July. The aim of the event is primarily to raise funds for good causes but also to give families a chance to experience a ‘proper’ music festival in a field with camping and the chance to meet other families and festival goers in a small safe environment.

There will be over 60 bands on three stages featuring a variety of quality music, real ale, various food outlets and free camping.

Deerstock is run entirely by volunteers and is now in its 7th successful year.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

ID will be required at the bar only. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The site is a Horse Cross Country Course and there are jumps stored around the site Deerstock ask parents to ensure their children do not play on these and cannot accept responsibilty for any accidents.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The site is in a field between East Brudgford and Shelford which have good bus services.

What can I bring into the event?

We are happy for festival goers to bring any food or drink but no glass or cans in the arena.

However its is a fund raiser and all profits from the arena bar go to our charities.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

What's the refund policy?

Ticket price refund up until the day before the event (Fees will be withheld by Eventbrite)
