This week sees R&L confirming that final headliner for this year’s festivals and Reading’s Saturday night final act will be Eminem. Hip-hop legend will take to the top spot once again, joining the already announced Kasabian (Friday) and Muse (Sunday).
Also announced in this latest instalment, we have Haim returning after their cancelation last year, You Me At Six on the back of their UK top 3 ‘Night People’ and Blossoms who are just having huge sold-out shows everywhere they go these days.
This year’s poster is certainly taking shape, with many more yet to be announced of course. Second headliners will come from Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club and Major Lazer. There’s no doubt these are some of the most popular names around right now, offering an exciting lead up to the summer nights at Reading & Leeds.
As we anticipate the new releases coming to us this year, you’ll be eager to catch the likes of Mallory Knox, Oh Wonder (their first R&L appearance!) and Rat Boy. This summer will be the perfect time to catch up with existing favourites who may have been hidden away in writing studios for a little while.
And whilst we’re still revelling in some of the best, and our favourite, releases from last year and this one so far, Moose Blood, Sundara Karma and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes all have even more material to show off this festival season.
