With their sixth studio album set for release this spring, rock juggernauts Kasabian will be joining #RandL17 for a UK Festival Exclusive. Their performance at Reading and Leeds will mark an invigorating new chapter for a defining band of our time. Expect to hear their unmistakable modern-day rock & roll anthems including, ‘Fire’, ‘Shoot The Runner’ and ‘L.S.F’.
Speaking about their upcoming headline performance Kasabian said, “It’s been five years, and as a band we have come a long way since then. We’re looking forward to playing tunes from the new record and bringing the mosh pit to Reading & Leeds Festival!”
The next act hardly needs any introduction, but we’re going to anyway. No British DJ stands as iconic as Fatboy Slim. In his 20-year career, he’s not only pioneered an entire revolution in British dance, but also become the genre’s leading face and changed the generation in the process. Fatboy Slim’s first ever Reading and Leeds performance is going to get you ‘Rockerfeller Skanking’ and wanting to ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’ all weekend.
Aussie electro king Flume is also set to touch down at Reading and Leeds this summer as another UK Festival Exclusive. His latest album, ‘Skin’ showcased his stellar production and saw him collaborate with the likes of AlunaGeorge, Vince Staples and Beck.
Feeling psyched? We’re just getting started. Two Door Cinema Club join the already impressive line up. Expect old favourites, alongside new tracks from their latest album, ‘Gameshow’.
Influential heroes of their genre, Jimmy Eat World are set to deliver their life-affirming classics with another UK Festival Exclusive. Joining them, the godfather of grime, Wiley returns to #RandL17.
Also tearing up the Reading and Leeds’ stages this year are the unstoppable Circa Waves. See the band’s hotly anticipated new album, ‘Different Creatures’ live. Equally as electrifying is the return of Rat Boy to #RandL17, his riotous performance is not to be missed this summer.
Not content with giving you three UK Festival Exclusives in this announcement, organisers have got another. Aussie metalcore titans, The Amity Affliction make their debut Reading and Leeds appearance this year.
Already announced are other huge names including Muse, Major Lazer, Bastille, At The Drive In, Tory Lanez and more. But that’s not all. The festival still has its third headliner to announce and loads more acts set to play. Make your summer unforgettable, grab your tickets now.
