Green Man are excited to announce their second wave of acts for #GreenMan17,

It’s shaping up to be an extra-special year at the Brecon Beacons’ biggest party.

THE SHINS will be playing ahead of the release of their fifth album and this is to be their only UK festival show this year.

Poet/musician KATE TEMPEST, will be showcasing her spine-tingling way with words after she last played Einstein’s Garden way back in 2009.

And SLEAFORD MODS bring their direct, stripped back political exultations and electrifying live show to fly the flag for punk in 2017.

BBC 6 Music fans will be no strangers to San Francisco’s blistering, garage rock pioneers THEE OH SEES, and iconic US legend DANIEL JOHNSTON are also on the bill alongside the very special SHIRLEY COLLINSreturning following her Babbling Tongues talk in 2014, with wonderful new material.

The Flyer can heartily recommend going to see the ARCHDRUID himselfJULIAN COPE, who in our opinion is always worth the price of entry on his own.

Newly-styled, endearing folk-rock is also on the bill from JOHNNY FLYNN & THE SUSSEX WIT, and Green Men (and women) can help celebrate 25 years of Foxbase Alpha with SAINT ETIENNE, synth-jabbing punk rock freakkouts from LIARS AND a DJ set from certified dance music legend RONI SIZE, 20 years on from releasing classic record “New Forms”.
