Latest update from 2000 Trees Festival

Say NO to single use! Make sure you take your tent (and all the assorted gubbins) with you after 2000trees 2019 – this massively cuts down on the waste and plastic pollution on site, helping not just us but the environment too.

And make sure you give your mates a big kick if they're planning on leaving their camping stuff. We're all in this together! 💪💪💪

My mind always boggles at how people can AFFORD to leave a tent behind, let alone how awful it is for organisers and the environment!

  2. Ryan Nicholls says:

    Please stress this more!

  3. Matt Davis says:

The only thing I plan to leave behind is my MIND (and possibly my dignity)

  4. Laura May says:

How anyone can leave tents/camping equipment is beyond me. They’re my pride and joy.

  5. Victoria Louise Manning says:

I don’t understand how and why people leave their tents behind!! I’ve just purchased a new tent for trees (on sale) at £55 I would not leave it behind!!

  6. Sam Spearey says:

I love how tidy trees is. One year you had stewards handing out bags for recyclable waste and general waste it would be cool if you could do that again !

  8. Su Martin says:

2000 Trees – please keep promoting this up to and during the festival or it won’t have any impact. I still think you should charge a £10 (or similar) returnable deposit in exchange for a black bag full of rubbish handed in at the end of the festival.

  9. Marie French says:

Are there free water refills around the site without having to buy a reusable bottle?

  10. Joshua Lee says:

Matt Eadon Craig Daffron always leaving tents but say you’re vegan?

  11. Harry Ashenden says:

Last year’s mess… need more bins and recycling points, managed to salvage a spare tent, did us well for download 👌

  12. James Emanuelli says:

Me and a mate have Wombled some good abandoned stuff in past years.

  13. Russell Hall says:

I normally leave a festival after the last band has finished on a Sunday night.
The few I’ve left on a Monday have been an eye opener, the amount of abandoned gear is unreal, you can kit up really well if your prepared to do a bit of scavenging.
Still you should leave nothing behind but good vibes and flattened grass! I always clear up my patch of land!

  14. Glen Baxter says:

I’ve had the same festival tent since I started going to arctangent 6 years a go. Still going strong!
