0161 2023, now the dust has settled and everyone is back home we can look back on what has been the biggest and most successful 0161 Festival since we began in 2014.
This year saw nine days worth of events, new murals across the city, radical walking tours, film nights and political discussions with comrades from all over Europe. This isn’t just a flash in the pan, this is about creating something long lasting and far reaching.
Then we had four days of music across two venues, two brilliant venues who have always supported us and what we do. artists from Germany, Ireland, Scotland and The Basque Country all travelled in with people from all over the world.
We can’t say thank you enough, to everyone who bought a ticket and attended every part of this festival week, however big or small we appreciate it and that’s what makes it so special 🤝🏻 we couldn’t be building something so great without you.
To all the crew that this wouldn’t be possible without, an eternal gratitude to every single one of you, they are truly what makes this festival work.
Make no mistake, this is just the beginning.
